Question Need help with electronic boost control monitor mounting solution...

I recently installed an EVC VI boost controller in my 2006 MR and currently have it sitting on top of my steering column. Which now that the double sided tape is no longer sticky it tends to slip and lay flat. I would like this monitor to be located on the dash area to my right (in a left side drive evo), starting right of the slope from the gauge cluster and stop about 2 inches left of the airbag. I'm trying to find a pre-made bracket or fabricate a bracket that will use the existing vent screws (or something behind the dash) behind the carbon fiber dash trim and come out between the carbon fiber trim and the upper dash, then go vertical about 2 inches and turn back 90 degrees making a gauge/monitor mounting surface that doesn't involve applying double-sided tape or velcro(sp). I thought about possibly using the monitor holders from Apexi or Blitz but those still involve attaching it to the surface of the dash in some way, shape or form. I've started trying to fabricate one and I have a decent prototype but it will need ALOT of work and adjustment before I'm happy with it; or at least think it's good enough to sand, prime, and paint. Please, let me know if any of you have ever seen anything like this or have made one yourselves. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks
