Prosport Mechanical Boost Gauge

I was wondering what I need to do to install the Prosport Mech boost gauge correctly with my existing MR gauge package. Does the Prosport hook up directly with my existing boost/vac line? What do I use or need to power the lights for the Prosport gauge? What else do I need to do? Thanks!

I have the electric peak/warn boost gauge from prosport, but yes you can use the oem boost line. Does your gauge have the capability of being wired for different color options, like white for day or amber for night, or is it just locked on one color?

Yes, you can switch the colors on the gauge. Do I have to splice any wires of the oem gauge wires?

I just got my prosport boost gauge installed. to power the gauge if you dont want to splice, buy an "add a circuit" and plug it into any fuse behind coin compartment (ignition on). I used the power mirrors. or splice into the cig lighter wire (brown). splice into parking light or headlight switch to make it blue. otherwise it'll be amber.

i'd recommened use "add a circuit", no splice at all. just add longer wire if needed, then crimp and thats it. you can always remove it, its like plug n play.

plug it into an ignition on accessory fuse (power mirrors), it now becomes two fuses. crimp the red wire from the boost gauge onto the other end of this "add a circuit". I used a 3 amp fuse, dont forget to plug in the 7.5 amp fuse for the power mirrors (or whichever one you took out).
