Help with Bosch O2 sensor

Installing a new exhaust soon and my stock O2 Sensor was cut so I'm ordering a replacement. Not too sure about the Bosch ones and couldn't find much info through a search.

I plan to purchase this to replace the OEM:

https://www.partshighway.com/product...tnum=BOS-15730

Anyone have an idea if they work well or someone with this replacement? And of course I will have to do the CEL fix with an anti fouler. But I just want to know if this would work fine for my 04 evo because I read about some issues with the wiring being different I think? Maybe color coded wrong, not sure. Want to know from someone that might have it already or any advice. Thanks!

Which O2 Sensor are you talking about... bank sensor 1 in the O2 housing or The sensor after your cat?

And the one your looking at shouldn't work.

You need to have 4 wires in your O2 to splice... it's much easier to do if your wires aren't "cut" already because two wires are black and identical so your looking at a 50 50 unless you follow them all the way back.

If it is the universal one don't waste your money. I have it in my car and it took a dump on me in about 3 months. Actually going in to pick up my oem one today. They are expensive but work much much better

I'm talking about the the sensor after my cat, not the O2 housing one. It was cut by accident and I ended up losing my O2 sensor connected to the midpiping. I need to know which O2 sensor I could buy to replace it and was considering purchasing a universal one but apparently it's not good? Is there a specific O2 sensor I'll need for the connection after the cat? Can anyone recommend a good replacement? Perhaps an OEM replacement that I could buy online and of course a good price

Thanks for the help so far.

I've been using the antifouler trick for about 12,000 miles with great success!!
