If your oem brembo stickers are still good you can skip the red paint. Just sand it lightly with some fine sand paper like 800 grit and clear coat it. The original red will come back with a clear coat.

You don't need to SOAK the calipers in brake cleaner, just moisten a rag with it and quickly wipe it all down.

whatever you do, make sure you do it right the first time.... the second tmie around is about 10x harder... you have no idea. I decided to change the color after i got tired of red... and then tired of black, the second time around was the biggest pain int he ass ever. If you get bored of the repaint, get it powdercoated instead.

Nice color combos some of you guys have got here. I'd be interested to see a set in BBY or WW (probably hard to keep clean tho)

Hey, I just called Brembo directly and explained to the woman (Asanna) how my factory brembo calipers have the clear coat peeling (extrememly bad) and how Mitsu refused to service the issue when I was covered under warranty... so I am going to repaint them myself.....
I asked her for the Brembo decals for them and she said no problem and she will mail them right out to me (no charge) and that she will forward this information to the appropriate departments for further review on why this is happening to our calipers. she said i should receive a response back from them, but either way im getting free decals and it looks like most of you guys paid for them.....
just letting you guys in on some info.. thats all.
and sorry for jacking your thread

I would like to "resurface" the Brembo calipers to get back that OEM protective glaze. Anyone know how to do this? (I wouldn't consider taking them to Satan an option.)
