More thoughts
A better idea would be to run the outlet of the catch can into the intake just in front of the turbo. Air should be cleaner, so no oil and the hydrocarbons are actually gonna be burned. Good idea if the flow is enough. It also takes out the leak from the PCV valve. They are notorious for leaking boost. Im guessing you saw boost quicker with the nipple capped off.
The key is to maintain enough flow under high boost to help reduce blowby from the rings, valve seals.
Does the crankcase have anywhere to vent from too? If so then it might be a great idea to key that into an integrated system that pulls into the turbo inlet, but still caps off the intake manifold port.
