all the paint i used was in a spray can. I used the wheel paint for the black, but i used the regular paint for the red lip. then i sprayed the clear wheel paint/gloss over it

My paint is still holding up. I had to redo a little of the red lip because I got new tires, but other than that, the thin clear coat seems to keep the paint from chipping. Also, i did paint the inside of the rim.

Wow... I didn't know there was a how-to for this. I did the same exact thing back in November. Mine is holding up good, but it got hit with something while driving and got a small chip on the lip.

I'm going to do this to my stock Enkei's too. But I have curb rashes on 3 of the 4 wheels. Guess I gotta apply some putty and sand down before doing any painting.

I'm also not sure about the wheel weights and valve stems(probably just cover it with tape).

Those turned out Very nice.. So did the wheels on the red one...

I was planning on doing this, but like many others i live in harsh climates, and feel like they will not survive the rough roads, and winters here in PA very well..

What was the total cost of all the supplies?

Some local powdercoaters qouted me $175-200 for (Prep/powder/cure)

I imagine you might have $75-90 invested?

I had a powder coating place quote me $150 per wheel, so I started powder coating myself.....
