I just installed mine today using this link http://www.evomoto.com/tech_info.php...3_13&tech_id=9 what everyone says about not having much gas is definetely true, i had 3/4 of a tank, big mess. The only extremely annoying part is getting the big black piece that holds the stuff in off and back on...

Not sure...

if you still need this but on the connector you got two big wires and two small. The two small are both black (obviously) and the two big if you are looking at it from the front with the two and the three smaller holes facing away from you and the bigger wires facing you, the black goes on the left, the white on the right

hmmm i did a few of these installs already so everything was super smooth when i did another today... now its been a year since i did my last so ill ask this one question.....

after the white plastic housing is dropped back into the tank and the black metal ring is fastened back down with the nuts, does anyone know if the white housing should be able to move ever so slightly? mine can move about 1mm all around. concerned w/ a fuel tank, fuel may spill over.

I followed the evomoto install tutorial and it took maybe a half an hour start to finish....I reused the stock pieces and it works great.

mifesto - you shouldn't be able to move the pump housing, the black ring holds it in place, did you remove the gasket on the underside by mistake? Maybe you didn't line it up correctly(the ring, though I don't see how you could tighten the nuts if you did mess up)

i didn't use any of the parts out of the kit. i heard the filter form the kit was sucking in and causing problems, so i just stayed with the stock pieces, including the rubber. it should not be a problem. i was instructed to do this and it has worked for the last 2 years.
