Rough RPM at idle

Hey guys,

For some reason as of late, my '01 Evo 7 has started to have a rough idle. When I start the car, it creeps up to about 3k RPM, then will drop down to 2500, then drop down to about 1500 and keep revving between the two. When I give it a bit of gas, it is slow to move back down in the RPMs, and will keep surging between 2500 and 1500. When I say surging, it sounds like when it hits 1500, someone is blipping the throttle to touch 2500, then letting it drop again. Kinda hard to explain, but hopefully you get the idea.

Still has SAS installed, Plazmaman intercooler and piping ( was having no issues with this set up until recently), and I have replaced the TPS and IAC valve. OBDII scan shows no error codes at all. Any help/suggestions will be of great help!

Thanks all!

Do a boost leak test. It sounds like you could have a vacuum leak, which a boost leak test should reveal.
