If You're Still Using This Forum / Thank you EvoM!
The world has so heavily migrated to the unsearchable, unstructured, cluster**** that is Facebook (and to a lesser extent Reddit)
This forum still has a ton of awesome tech info and people still properly flogging their cars and sharing tips. As someone who isn't modifying their car that much (because it's Mostly Done (tm)) I just want to say how much I appreciate people still being willing to spend their time helping others.
Thank you!

Many of us have been on evolutionm for 10 to 15 years. In that time, we have collectively dissected the Evo, flooding this forum with technical instructions, unique experiences (both good and bad), and forged guidance for all future owners of this platform. It would be a monumental tragedy if anything were to happen to this forum.

Yea I couldn’t imagine all the technical information, findings, tuning data, how to’s for anyone new to the platform or someone wanting to put one back together again someday. Can’t imagine everything we’ve all shared together over the years disappearing suddenly.
Even if the forum were to go away, I’d hope someone would archive all this information.

Don't forget the Joe250, qlmotorsport and EvoMoto sites. I have some of that saved as PDFs along with many threads on here. I kept a bunch of Mike W posts from SocalEvo too. Internet Archive won't save everything, we should probably dump what we have onto some cloud storage somewhere.
I used to lurk here in '03 as a broke highschool kid. I still vividly remember seeing a set of gold Advans on a red VIII, first time seeing that style. I wonder if those pictures are still up.
And yes, FaceBook is trash.

I will never understand why folks migrated from the forums to the ****show that is fakbook... Even as a relatively new member and owner (March), almost all of my evo learning has come from here..
