Pump+Meth, vs Race Gas vs E85
I know its a loaded type of question but what do you like and run in your cars? Whats the best bang for the buck and which is worth doing? I know I will get a bunch of replies and thats what i want. I am considering which way to go with my car and want the input from as many people who have tried these setups or are using them now.. Whats the best?

I used c16 on track days at the drag and had good results, since I run 93 for everyday...
Had a friend with meth and pulp on his sti and he had to refill like every week and half but he has a heavy foot...
To me the c16 was more logical and economically logical since I only used it when i really needed it...
Of course this was before e85 became the new fad... I still don't have it locally available to actually consider doing th switch especially since I read ppl getting like 190 miles to a tank...

I live within 30 minutes of E85 but i dont drive my evo often so i would just order a 55 gallon drum and use it when needed.. only downside i hear a lot of it the switch over to e85. the added cost for injectors, pumps, lines and fuel rail.. is it worth it?

my friend ran pump and meth. He too had to refill the meth tank every couple weeks. Something failed, line popped, I think and his engine bit the bullet. Race gas may be hard to come by for a daily driver. E85 wins hands down, of course only if it's readily available in your area

i personally use 93 oct cause i daily drive and c16 on track days. my friend didnt run his car for 3 weeks with e85 in it and it killed his brand new fic 2150's... e85 is cheap and good fuel but the maintenance i think will cost about the same in the end.. plus the cost of a fpr, pump, filter, and huge injectors...

I like the idea of the pump and meth but was hearing horror stories of the pump failing or the line popped off and then the motor popped because the meth never fired.. i dont need to rebuild another engine lol.. I dont mind the upgrade in the fuel system, that has been planned for a little to do it anyways. I have the 255 which is getting old and 1000cc injectors which are a bit small in my eyes. and after reading the post above mine, i wonder if e85 is safe. I dont DD my car anymore and it has a habit of sitting for weeks since i travel a lot now and have two other cars to drive.. I guess ill be calling my tuner and asking his advice and see where it goes from there..
