Was going to trade mine in for a Forester XT as we're expecting in November, but the wife (!!) became teary eyed at the thought, looked at me, and said no way. She's keeping her crv, and I get to buy a baby recaro seat for when he's old enough to ride in the X.

coming from the point where my evo is at lol tons of cars would be a downgrade persay but the bmw 135i is not ugly and gives off that a killer look by just putting on some basic exterior mods. I would not build another car whatever i got least im not claiming GTR or R8 like they cost 20k . Might buy a salvage evoX for cheap and take my time putting it back together would save alot of money

haha
I have a 2011 x gsr and if the eng ever blew and warrenty would not cover it I would ditch the eng and order a R32 or R34 from Japan swap it in and the tranny ecu and tune still have my evo x but with inline 6 twin turbo haha.
Will never sell why spend all that for a new skyline when I can make my own.lol godzilla in a tiger outfit.
Once you go all AWD nothing realy can keep up.

x2. There's no way that was a serious post.
As for me, I don't plan on selling either of my Evo's. When people ask "why are you dumping money into a car you can't keep (JDM Evo IV)?" I reply that I fully intend to either a) get it into the US SOMEHOW or b) not move back to America.
If I DID part with a car, it would be the IV. Once it's fixed up it should make a nice down payment on a Toyota/Subaru FT-86/BRZ. That's the only realistically affordable car I would consider for now.
If we are talking "the sky is the limit", the only other cars I want and constantly work out the finances of acquiring (always a depressing process ) are an R34 GT-R, an R35 GT-R, and a twin turbo Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.
Even with unlimited funds I would still keep my X MR as my primary daily driver.
