LED Lighting
I've been seeing a lot of the new CTS Sedans around and their purplish white LED reverse lights have got me wondering what it would take to get a set for my Evos reverse lights. I'm sure I could run to Oreillys or Autozone and find something cheap but it wouldn't look near as good. Does anyone know of an LED lighting store online that would sell something near the same quality as a Cadillac or could I just go to a Cadillac dealer and find a set of bulbs that would fit in my car? I'm really wanting to do this and any info you guys have would help a lot!
Imagine having a high-definition TV that is 80 inches wide and less than a quarter-inch thick, consumes less power than most TVs on the market today and can be rolled up when you're not using it. What if you could have a "heads up" display in your car? How about a display monitor built into your clothing? These devices may be possible in the near future with the help of a technology called organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs)

oled are way better and they are supposed to last 10 plus years. the only issue is that they are cutting edge and they might be a little more expensive

Yah and with the help of time machines I can go back and keep your parents from giving birth to you.. Lol, really has no relevance to what I asked.
I have a 52" Sony 120hz LCD TV and my brother has an LED TV.. My LCD tv has a much better picture, LED has a ghosting problem. Especially with blu-rays. Besides I dont really care about saving energy and trees and ****.. Do they even make OLED for cars? The only advantage it has is energy efficiency and last I checked i dont get a utility bill for my evo every month lol.
There is a guy on here who had a blue evo that does(did custom led lights for the evo. I can't rememeber his name though. Might could search for LED ligths and find him and I am sure he could help you out with getting those lights you want

FWIW - the LED TV is also an LCD. It is just using LED as the backlight.

I am pretty sure he doesn't sell them anymore. He isn't a vendor and I don't think he even logs into that account.
The last time I got stuff from Curt it came to me from v-leds.com. I'd check them out as they have some pretty nice pieces.
OLED is not the way to go, btw. Think of OLED as small displays on cellphones and mp3 devices. There are bigger applications but I've never seen lighting uses for a car, as an example.
siclanevo - what type of custom stuff do you do? Send me a PM if you don't want to broadcast. Thanks!
