Exedy triple ceramic is installed.

cleaned the s**t out of the engine bay.

BEFORE:

AFTER

look at the oil/grime on the floor from cleaning off the TC/crossmember. That a-arm in the left of this picture was covered in 1/8" thick oil grime. Now its clean!

the thing that pisses me off, this should not have been a "project" car. i bought it to drive it, and look at all this BS I had to go through.

One more night of connecting and buttoning up everything and I think we can have it running! Only had 4 hours of work tonight and got the motor in and everything. I would say that is really good progress!

SON OF A...

not enough clearance, the shearer must sit out 1/2" further than the buschur cast mani. I'm going to run the buschur cast manifold now instead. sucks, but oh well, the cast mani will be more reliable for a semi-daily car.

notice how close it is even with the cast mani. i had the angle changed on the wastegate pipe to clear the shearer manifold, now im gonna have to have my welder guy put it back the way it was.

Awesome build. I too own a LY evo. I wish we were neighbors so I could learn from you. Good luck, let us know how much power she puts out.
