Towing with an Evo
Searched around and didn't see much about anyone towing with their cars.
I'm curious to see if our cars are capable of towing a small 5'x10' utility trailer with a 400lb motorcycle on board? Has anyone ever towed anything significantly close to that weight or more?

Ive seen guys tow thier autox setup to the track. Trailer , tires, tools, etc. The owners manual should have the towing information.

Yeah, it says "towing not recommended".
TBH, I don't know if the t-case is able to take towing.

Doesn't do well since theres 0 power until 2500... As long as the surface is flat youre okay.... I use to tow couple jet skis with my car and i was okay... Just have to take it easy...
Cheers!

I have wondered about this as well. Just a micro-trailer with AutoX/Track days stuff in it.

I would do it. In fact, if i had enough wheels i would tow a trailer to racing events.

Do you remember how much the towing hitch was?
I don't see this being a huge problem, I see subarus towing larger things all the time, why not haul my bike around with it.
Does anyone have pictures of a trailer attached to an evo?

A 5x10 utility trailer is probably rated as too much weight for a standard car hitch.

I've towed a trailer with 3 junk engines and a set of wheels/tires from the back of our IX race car before.
