That motivation thing reminds me of another one. One time in the Evo I went to Taco Bell. 5 years later, Evo VIIIs are sub 20k price, the guy buys one, comes on here to talk trash and post street racing videos and gets banned. Not really, but you can see it happening

Hopefully your right though, kinda like how DARE has those cars to show kids what they can have if they resist drugs and alcohol.

Drive-thru's are the worst! I live in Kent, WA. And we have the biggest street racing scene in the state, so everytime I am hitting up Taco Bell after 10pm on weekends they always ask me if I am going to the races, I tell them no and they get disappointed. One day they will understand...

Even in the Porsche it wasn't that amazing. Try riding around/driving around in a Mini. Talk about stares, and they're all happy!

The 08s are really growing on me, I wont say I have not thought about it...

But I figured I would get out of college before I get another car.

And about the girls... It is really hit or miss. I guess it is a hit if you want a young girl that will pull down her panties for a nice car. But myself, that is not the type of girl I exactly want. But to each their own!

lol great threads.
I get all kinds of comments also.
Most of the time, it's good and ppl say "nice car" or something, or ask me if it's fast.
But then you get those asshats in like f-150 pickups, that think they're fast. lol, and try to race or rev.
Mostly around here, it's Mustangs and Camaro's.

My Best one so far is the other night at work.
I work at a Japanese restaurant/sushi bar, and park right up front.

I overheard some little kid tell his dad he liked that grey car outside.
The dad tells his kid(Insert redneck accent) "HELL son, thats one of them JAP fast and the furious cars, it must be the owner of this Joint
I'll show you a real car, like a mustang." BAHH.....

LOL - I about died right there.. no offense towards rednecks or asians.
I go around the corner and all I see is a sea of mullets. whole family had a mullet, mom,dad, and kid. I was like "REALLY"

i was over my girls house with my car and her car(mustang) parked next to each other in the drive way. A father and son riding their bikes by and the dad says "hey look a mustang, hey look a wingo"

Man my son is the best when it comes to my car every time i pick him up from day care he tells every one the his daddy drives a evo and its really fast and every thing eles is slow and he loves working on it with me... He keeps telling me that when he getts older he is going to get a red one and that him and i are going to race..... What have i gotten him into now....LoL....

My 6 year old bro use to call it Lightning McQueen when he was about 4ish, now he just screams "TURRRBOO" when I pull in. He's too the point where he asks what size turbo every car has now.

It's probably because most Subaru owners always try to race, so they just assume he's going to. That's one benefit of owning one, they don't try to race me anymore. And the Evo guys all mostly know me.

Is it just me or does every kid in a civic want to race you. I just shake my head and laugh(most of the time). Sometimes I just can't resist so I do a quick pull to show him he doesn't stand a chance and then go about my business.

I have a stock tb 9 and I have these kids that live around the corner from me, everytime they are outside as I pass by they yell out "nice car". Just the other day I was in town and as I was making a corner I look over at this girl about 16years old in the back seat of her parents suv and I could read her lips "I want that car" as she points....lol Another time I was leaving the gym and these 2 kids on bikes stop and yell out "bad a** evo" I just smiled and slowly cruzed away. I have owned my car for 3 years and everytime I detail my car (not very often) I can tell a lot more people breaking their necks to look, but when shes dirty no one really looks.

They stopped me and told me how much they love the car. The son tells the father " daddy, I want that car! " . The father looks at him and tells him " son, I want that car! ".
