Beer can stuck way up in the exhaust pipe - ??

So I saw this thread somewhere that showed how you can check to see if your exhaust system was a true 3" pipe. Basically you put a beer can in there and see if it goes through. If it does then you're good.

Well, I wanted to see if it was truly 3" all the way up to the cat so I got a long stick and put the can on the end and well.... I think you can guess what happened next. Man its way up in there and lodged big time. I've been trying to get it out all afternoon.

Any thoughts?

/facepalm

Get a long stick/rod and either crush/smash/pull it out.

Was the can full? Do not launch it out if so.

NO. Don't run you're car real hard. Doesn't sound safe!

Anyway, just because an exhaust is a full 3" doesn't mean that a can, which has some length, is going to fit around the mandrel bends.

What about applying heat?

Wait, have you dropped your exhaust?

are you serious...damn..
why didnt u tie to something first?
why dont u heat some metal up, and stick it in there to make a whole in the can, and then try takin it out with something that u can hook it up to.

my vote is to lift the car and take the exhaust off then pull the can out. not that hard to uninstal/reinstall a exhaust

what you can do is get some ky jelly and put it on the bottom of the exhaust can and start to rub. This area is like the taint of an evo and if you do it just right your car will shoot the can out of its poop chute and it will land in your lap.

it might not happen at first but practice makes perfect just keep on keepin on!!

Maybe a magnet on the end of that stick? Ive seen people launch plastic cups from their exhaust but not cans so I cant imagine that running your car is a great way to clear it out.
