check out this new shift knob - kinda cool

I was checking out the new products from SEMA and thought it was kinda cool, Shift knob with LCD gear indicator.
Will not work with MR 6 speed though cuz of the reverse lever..

They also have a standalone dash mount shift light also,For the 6 speed guys
indy-cator.com

here is the link to all the sema products.

It's not for me, but it's interesting. Good for those times when you forget what gear you're in.

That is kinda cool but then again, your hand is covering it majority of the time thus rendering it pointless...

yeah, I agree, when do you forget what gear you are in?
and if you do, just look down, lol

I do like their dash mount LCD light/guage though, keeps you from looking down.
cool idea but a little pointless, like you said..

Good if you have a ratcheting shifter, but pointless if its regular H gate.

I say there's no need for it. These indicators work well for motorcycles though.
