Great post!
Wanna add something about a down pipe? Maybe High flow cat/test pipe?
And the importance of tightening down T-bolt/worm drive clamps when you mess with/change your intercooler piping. This weekend I installed a licp and I thought it was pretty tight. Last night it was 20-25 degrees cooler, I dropped down to third to pass a car, and as soon as I built boost, it sounded like someone popped a paper bag. I pulled over gave the car a look over and then saw the undertray basically blown out. I called my wife, got the tools I needed and fixed the coupling that had blown off in about a half an hour. Thank God she wasn't driving or my car would be with satan right now.

+1 on sticky.
You should add the driver mod.

+1 on sticky! Make it easy to find since most people post a thread before searching.
|
Think it would be a GREAT sticky for the EVO GENERAL forum...... since the majority of the "what should my noob azz mod. first!?!?" threads are in here anyway!

I know nOObs like to know which name brands are the best. Like, Which is better BR or AMS??? Make it like the JDM exhaust fitment thread, except describing the pros and cons of the most popular name brands.....if thats not too much.

I also vote for a sticky,
You forgot to mention a manifold port/upgrade and a turbo/housing upgrade. Definately things that would fall into here.

there is room for improvement...I'll definitely be adding to it
I didn't want to play favorites with brands and specifics
this is just a generalization
