Complimentary Oil Change?
How many of you received a Complimentary Oil and Filter Change and 27-Point Vehicle Inspection from Mitsubishi?
This offer was from Corporate, not the Local Dealership and my Vin is printed on the offer?
Seems Mitsubishi may want to take a peek at my EVO, or this is a widespread model offer?

Well I received the Complimentary Oil and Filter Change and 27-Point Vehicle Inspection from Mitsubishi last December and I already used it last week .
Synthetic Oil and service is included and I love how my car respond after putting in fresh oil .

I got one.
The postcard that looks to be a universal "any Mitsubishi vehicle free oil change" card that then has your specific VIN writtein on the bottom of it.
I took it to Satan and asked them if it was going to cover the cost of an oil change on the Evo since the Evo took synthetic or if it was only going to be good for the price of a conventional oil change and I would have to pay for the rest of the cost. He called the regional rep. who told him that it would cover the cost of a complete synthetic oil change, since the Evo's VIN was the one listed on the card, and an Evo requires synthetic oil.
The car was already almost a year old when I got the card in the mail.

^ Yeah I got the same response when I called in over the phone about the offer.
When I got there, the same hot service department representative who I talked with over the phone verified this information over to her boss and she realized that it covered any kind of oil so I got lucky by following my nose .

The service department where I bought my Evo has repeatedly offered to give me one free oil change. It's been almost two years and I've been changing my oil myself (and keeping all the receipts), but one of these days I will take them up on it. I called them recently and they confirmed that the offer remains open.

I got one too but haven't used it... but I get free oil changes anyway from South Coast Mitsu, so I don't have much of a use for it at the moment, unless I just happen to be far away when my next oil change is due. I think it expires this March though.
