wow, so if you subtract the number of SE's from the regular IX's, that number drops quite a bit I'd imagine. At least 1,000 anyway.
I wonder how many of the regular IX's are SSL? My car might be almost as rare as the RS'...

I think there is a very good chance for the VIII's and IX's to hold their value because they are high demand now. That all depends on the success of the new evo... If its a flop and mitsu killed it like they did the Eclipse then the VIII and IX will definately be high demand and get top dollar.

Makes sense now, because before the IX's were released, I rarely saw an Evo (this is in Cali too)
But now, I see tons more Evos, and they're all IX's, and coincidentaly, most are MR's.
There are definitely less 8's around because they've been around longer, and tons of them have been wrecked.

Those are the numbers that were in the press release in late 02, pre release.
They said for the first two year, the would only do a limited number, to see how the US like/responded to the EVO. 05 was the first year that they exported as many as they could sale.
