If it sticks out past the bumper the muffler isnt slid on all the way. It will stick out some just to keep from burning the bumper but it shouldnt be gawdy.

That would be VERY suprising if the bars fit fine without the spacers. My money is the rattle is there.

I have a V-band TBE with the new bullet style muffler and I love it. I waited a while for one to show up in the classifieds and bought it. Its sounds mean...even meaner with cams! Money well spent! buschur FTW

off topic...what kind of sealant is that? i have an exhaust for my bike and need something around the clamps. at some point i hope i can get the buschur tbe

it looks like gasket maker to me
you can get it at any auto parts store

I thoroughly enjoy my buschur tbe with bullet muffler. It's not that much louder than stock at idle, gets aggressive @wot, and doesn't stick out.

jrod ims get s better pic tom but it is a old style exhaust with the clamps but should i worry aout this since its on my ix

I really don't get this thread. You have a Buschur, you think it looks and sounds great, and it no longer rattles but you're asking if you should get another...why?
If you follow the forum at all you would know that a good majority think the Buschur exhaust is a quality piece. If it fits now with no issues and you like it then keep it.

he has a pix of the shield on the center part of the driveshaft, just remove it, its only two bolts if i remember correctly
