My Introdution to EvoM

I'm finally doing my long awaited intro after browsing and buying parts off the classifieds the last 10 or so months. I bought my Evo in 2014. It is my first evo. I bought it fully built but I changed some cosmetic, engine and performance upgrades to give it my own flavor. The engine is almost done getting refreshed. I'm expecting around what I had before the refresh, 801Hp on a mustang dyno. I ran 10.9 at 139mph on street tires in CO (high elevation) last race season. I haven't been able to run it this season. I look forward to getting to know the community!

Thanks MP, I was going to build the engine for 1000hp so I purchased all the parts to get me there. Atleast I thought, I bought a ported PTE 6870 turbo that's rated at 1100HP. My tuner in Denver can barley squeeze 900hp on the 6870. I thought about the build and decided to settle at a 800hp build and tune it down to about 680hp so I'm not stressing about investing atleast 8k in the car if something devastating happens. Now I have all kinds of performance parts to sell since I chickened out on the 1000HP build, lol.

So I'm new here too. Going to pick up my new FE in the morning. I must say, "I'm not worthy". What an incredible introduction to have built an 800hp monster. And then be all like "I tuned it down a bit as I really wanted 1000hp".

I'm gonna crawl back in my hole for the next 5 years until I have something useful to add to the forum.

The video is from my helmet cam last year. I wish I mounted the cam in a different place. I've watched and learned from my mistakes. This was the first and only night I've took it to the track. I really never could see where the end of the track was so I didn't bother hitting 5th gear and I noticed in the footage I always rolled through the finish line off the throttle. With a ton of improvement, I'm sure I can gain at least 1 second cleaning up my driving and putting on slicks or drag radials.

The guy I bought the car from invested over 100k into her. I know he went through a couple engine set ups. Including purchase of the car I have over 50k in it. I may actually be forced to sell the car to invest to money into my business. I hope I don't have to but I just may need to.
