Funny Evo story...
My brother-in-law is a police officer. Yesterday over Christmas dinner he told me that about a week ago he got a call for backup from the campus police at a local Community College. I don't remember the code but it means there is a high speed pursuit. By the time my bro-in-law gets there the suspect has dissapeared into the mountain roads and three campus cops are running the car's plates to see if they can find an address. Apparently an unmarked vehicle had trailed the suspect before the pursuit. At this point it's unclear whether it was a stolen car or what.
So anyways they run the plates, find a local address and head off to the residence to talk with the registered owner. Once they arrive they see the car is parked in the driveway and approach the house with caution. They knock on the door and a middle aged couple greets them. Turns out the car, an Evo, belongs to their 19 year old son who's upstairs. The folks bring the kid downstairs and he has absolutely no idea why these cops would want to talk to him. My bro-in-law said the kid was 100% genuinely clueless. Turns out he never saw the trooper in his rear view mirror as he was darting through the twisty mountain roads. He also wasn't trying to outrun them. He was just in a hurry and, being a local guy, knows the mountain roads very well. They cited him for speeding but not for running from the cops. So basically, a 19 year old kid outran local PD without even knowing or trying. I was laughing my *** off.

I got Waved over by a cop on a horse, I was Like hmm I can out run him but i pulled over in fear that they might run the plates and go to my house. So when i pulled over the Cop was Like can i have your Registration insurance and License. HE told me my exhaust was too loud, and Also Asked why I didn't run. I told him because I didn't want to make the situation worse. He said that because i should really Get the exhaust quieted down, and that usually they would remove my inspection sticker and fine me, but because i actually stopped i would get away with a warning. I personally think he was BSing, so I am gonna leave my exhaust alone.
