geddy 25g on a mustang dyno

ok we dyno the greedy kit on monday night heres my mods
greddy 25g kit
3inch turbo back
hks 264intake 272exhaust
greddy front mount
super afc
greddy boost controller
flashed ecu
k&n filter with custom mass pipe
8.5mm wires
walbro fuel pump

at 20 psi it made 322hp and 291tor
at 25 psi it made 393hp and 340tor
at 28 psi it made 445hp and 370tor

with straight 110octane it seem to hold timing perfect and knock was pretty on the afc controller, it peek around 70s. but i am real happy with it, it felt really good on the road afterwards. were are taking it to rockingham, in hopes to turn 120mph or plus.

i would like to say thanks to turbodawg, chris, and josh for all of their had work on the install and tuning. i hope to get the sheets up in the next couple of days. no scanner so im taking them to turbodawg if he can do it for me.

the mustang dyno numbers is kind of low but we think it would be close to 500 at the wheels and over 550 at the crank.

i got to say the turbo is laggy but i like it pretty good.

heres the sheets.

I'm no pro, and I don't know alot...but maybe the A/R is too high? Seems like you're not making good power unless you're running high boost...Lemme see the dyno charts, because that is what will really show us what's going on....Better yet, take it to the track and run it, that'd be more standard....

Mitsubishi does lists A/R in a different method than most other people. The equivalent A/R for the Greddy T67 25G is a 10cm. This is slightly smaller in nozzle area than the 10.5 housing that is on the stock 16G6 turbo on a stock 2005 or newer Evo. There is an alternative size that is even smaller, a 8cm nozzle area. The turbo that he is using here is the 10cm unit.

I will get the scans of the dyno runs done as soon as he brings me the dyno sheets.

The 25g spools faster and is a very enjoyable turbo with the 8cm housing. The turbo has a bad name because everyone gets it with the 10cm. I know many accounts of the 8cm/25g laying down 525whp plus. There is no benifit to the 10cm. Just slower spool. You cant compare twin scroll numbers to single scroll numbers. A 10cm twin scroll prolly has more backpressure than a 8cm single.

Hell, who cares about the time? It's only .1 faster than I am, but that MPH realllllly shows the power. Holy crap, 96+ mph on a crap launch shows some definite power!

Very nice mph. That indicates about 410-420whp on a Dynojet.
