Looks like the kid must have come from behind you guys and hit you just as your buddy was starting his right turn. I've seen that a few times over the years. Still, it's amazing the Mitsu held up so well. I'm glad you made it out relatively okay. If you have a soft tissue injury, you probably won't feel it for a few days. When you do, be sure to march on down to the doctor's and get a band aid!

I was taken to the hospital and i was very fortunate to be here alive today!! I suffered from some cuts, bruises and pain in my upper body which im seeing a therapist now. My friend loved his car and was his hobby and pashion. I told him next time he will come out stronger!! Here are some pics. This car saved my life and my friends. Who ever said this car was not safe is wrong as i have physical proof!! Thanks

WOW, Miguel... I'm very sorry to see that... in these days you must drive with four eyes on the road...
Thank GOD you and your friend are OK, and hopefully you come on strong the next time.
Take some rest, and get well soon.

sue sue sue! it's the American way, **** yeaa! jk
was that and 03-04 or 05 model? because the earlier model was rated only 2/5 for front seat t-bone collision and the new one is rated at 4/5 or something, seems like it did hold up pretty well. good luck to you guys.
