[quote=NOLIMITMOTORS]i found yellow hid's. they are 3000k and about 600$ shipped, but they will only work in the MR headlights. so once I get those i'll get the yellow hid's.

scroll down here http://xenonfactory.com/products/hid/philips.htm[/QUOTE

I have some MR headlights on order and heard the the U.S. plug for the fogs wont fit. I havent seen them yet so im not sure why. Is this the same reason the HID kit for the fogs wont fit the U.S. housings but will work on the MR housings. Thanx for any info.

Nice find hank! I think I'm going to try the yellow caps they are much cheaper. I am getting the housings painted black anyway so while evodave is at it I will have him install the yellow caps.

Thumbs up

i have bought from hid express in the past and found them to be good people.
i decided to put in ion yellow from nokya-spw industries.
came out pretty nice, and i got them for 25 bucks. i decided that hid fogs was not what i wanted anyway. i had hid fogs and low beams on my s-10 and it was hella bright.

i think they came out o.k..

Do the JDM MR headlights use the same type of bulbs as the stock USDM headlights?

jdm mr= h7, usdm all = h11, some other cars that use h11 are rx-8, mazda 3, mazda 6 and non hid evo's use h11 in lowbeams i think.
