Greddy T-67 (25G 10cm Housing) Vs. AMS GT35R Turbo Kit

Which Turbo Kit would you go for?

What is the maximum HP to the engine for each kit?

personally, the AMS GT35R Ballistic ball bearing is what I would take between the two.

25G is not a new design and is laggy for its size, greddy manifolds tend to crack also.

you seem like you can afford both, buy both and tell us which one is better.

and before you tell us, Jun uses the 25g because they have too and they are sponsored by greddy. I am sure they would go HKS if they had a choice.

GT35R we are using will make 550 whp easily on race fuel. Depends also on the AR ratios, what other mods, tuning etc. . . .

What about the Greddy T-67 (25G 10cm Housing). It can make 550WHP easily. What do you think?

GT35R all the way. It will spool faster and make more power. We have had great sucess with it.

GT35R will make more power in your engine, and spool faster. But you need a good exhaust manifold, and you have to sell the Greddy kit
The GT35R is close to a HKS GT3240. The Greddy still has the potential though...

The point we are trying to make here tomei is that both the turbos will make 550+whp. But the GT35R will make the power earlier and hold that power as much as the 25g, this will result in a better powerband and a flatter dyno curve = more usable power.

Only negative or positive really depends, is that you can have so many combinations of headers and wastegates because of the amount available that will work with the GT35R. So for example, if you go with a bad header and restrictive 02 housing and a GT35R then you will be better of with the 25g Kit since its been proven to work. But if you find an excellent designed headers and a high flowing 02housing with a GT35R then you could out power and spool quicker than the 25G. I hope I was clear enough.

If you already have the 25G then I would stay with it, unless you dont mind waiting and lossing money in selling it then get the HKS 3240 or one of the GT35R kits.

good luck.

Let us know how it turns out.

by the way, did you decide what fuel managment setup your going to run. I remember reading you had some issues deciding a while back.
