Can a Evo 5 Center Diff & AYC use this oil???

Hi guys,
just wonder can an Evo 5 centre diff use this Mit Diaqueen LSD Gear Oil gear SAE90???
I know Mit specified to use Hypoid GL-5 gear oil but we cant get it over here...

Lastly, can we use Mit Diaqueen ATF SP 111 for Ayc oil replacement?

Thanks

The mistubishi LDS gear oil is a GL-5 so you should be fine. The AYC uses Diamond ATF SPIII (At least on the new generation evos). If the AYC for the evo 5 also calls for SPIII then you'll be fine.

The diaqueen is SAE 90. I had that fluid in my evo 8 for 7 years through many track days and never had an issue. I changed it every 5000 miles.

Hi, so you mean the Mit Diaqueen LSD Gear Oil (SAE90) is not suitable for Evo 5 Transfer Case aka Center Diff and Gearbox oil?

Sorry for the dumb question.

Please, read my Post

TRANSMISSION "Gearbox" not transfer or rear diff!!!

Rear Diff and TRANSFER CASE : SAE 90 GL5 LS ( or 75-90 GL5 LS )

TRANSMISSION : GL4 Oils 75-90 non LS (except for LSD equipped cars in TRANSMISSION, then GL4 75-90 LS )

The center diff( transfer case) and rear diff uses the LSD Gear oil which is a GL-5. The transmission calls for a GL-4 so you cannot use the LSD gear oil. A high quality 75W90 or straight 90 weight GL-4 fluid is what I would use for the transmission.
