Map sells their standard version of Howards Rods at a "custom length of 156mm". These would work perfectly in the 4G64. Talk to Kyle at Map...he helped design these rods and is one of the guys responsible for their Stock ECU 4G64 Evo putting out 1053awhp. I had an extensive conversation about these rods a few days ago. You need to call Wiseco and tell them you want a 9.5:1 compression version of their standard 1400HD Stroker piston part # K627M85. The custom piston would hypothetically have a new part # K627M87...which would be an 87mm bore and you specify that you want it bumped up from 9.0:1 to a 9.5:1 version. I think with this combo you'd be safe to 1000+ hp and is the best solution for the money....Call MAP.

!0:1 pistons would be fine too. I was suggesting 9.5:1 for more of a dual map configuration...ie a 93 octane map and an E85 map. If you're going to run E85 primarily then I'd say go for the higher 10:1 compression piston. Either way, with the 10:1 pistons, you'd have to run a few clicks less boost over the 9.5:1 pistons. The 10:1 would probably give you better spool characteristics. I'd also run the GSC S2 cams for the street at the very least. There are a lot of shops that have had good results with a 10:1 piston.

To answer the ops earlier questions everything from the 4g63 will swap over to the 4g64 but you do have to add some special stuff to make it work as I did of course. Make sure you get new parts as well like pullies headgasket frontcase etc. PLEASE PLEASE dont forget to get a fluidampr
you need a waterpump adaptor plate
Bigger Headgasket Custom AMS like i have or a power enterprise 87mm hg
Longer timing belt as in a 4g64 belt like i have or you can use a kevlar 4g63 but you will have to stretch it over the idler pully
Adjustible camgears you only need one since your a evo 9
You will need to also tap the block for mivec oil feed line
dont forget you have to move it one tooth up and adjust mivec tables for evo 9.
Also retard the timing 3.75 on camgears or camgear if you have evo 9.
