visually identify 5 spd and 6 spd trans?

visually identify 5 spd and 6 spd trans?
just wanted to know if anyone knows how i can visually tell if a tranny is a 6 or 5 speed? about to buy one and just want to make sure i getting the right one.

the 6 speed trans has cooling fins on the under side and also the shifter linkage is on top straight into the trans as on the 5 speed it is on a angle on the top/firewall side of the trans.
