Titanium exhaust note question

Hi guys, my first post here...

I wanted an exhaust for my 8MR that sounds exactly like the car in these vids:

So i bought myself a Greddy Ti-R full titanium 3" exhaust and had it fitted along with a 3" downpipe and decat.

My exhaust now sounds really nice and has a raspy note to it but nowhere near as rapsy as the evo in that vid - ive not heard any evo like it.

Does anyone have any idea of what could be causing that really raspy note? Could adding cams or a uprated turbo cause this?

Thanks

I think the quality of camera is distorting the sound of that car. Either that or maybe he has stock dp and cat or something to cause the raspiness.

The better the exhaust flow, the more raspy it gets.

Tubular manifolds and a large turbine wheel make the 4G63 sound like a Honda, usually.

Hmm so could be the manifold or could just be a crappy camera.

Is the owner of that evo on this forum? Could ask him personally

This one also sounds just as good:
