Alright well is there another cat-back you could recommend for around 500-600, not wanting a loud one, maybe a little bit over stock but just a low hum. I had heard good reviews about the Hi-Power but im trying to listen to everyone's advice for the most part.

Tanabe touring medalian is supposed to be a great quiet exhaust. I've not seen a single compaint but I dont personally know anyone with this exhaust. I know my Concept G was top notch quality/fitment but it's loud. (I previously owned a HKS Ti so my review is from experience).

Info and Sound clips of the Touring Medalion

BR with Magnaflow is also supposed to be pretty quiet, or I think you can order it double bullet.

I went through 4 different exhaust before keeping this one.
I cut off the flange where it was reducing to 2.6" (to meet the stock cat). Then welded on another section with a 3" flange (to use with my 3" test pipe. That effectively do away with any complaint from the 3-inch-a-must police.
IMO, this is the best sounding exhaust there is. It's deep and low and loud (enough) on WOT.
It will not rust because it's stainless and also is ceramic coated. There is a 30th aniversary edition that is fully polished. It is slightly heavier than most aftermarket (due to longer than normal resonator) but still a lot lighter than stock setup.

It's not stainless, it's polished mild steel.

Why would anyone want to pay $700.00 for an exhaust that needs to be modified. Also, the biggest problem with this exhaust is rubbing the driveshaft. And yea, you could cut the flange off and put a 3" flange on and then you could purchase kartboy hangers so it doesnt rub. OR you could just buy an exhaust that fits for less... hmmm

For the OP.. search exhaust rubbing driveshaft and see what comes up.

^hmmmm.. I don't have any rubbing issue using stock rubber hangers with provided metal brackets (that comes with the exhaust).

What about the Turbo XS RFL Ti Cat-back? Just listened to a few clips of it and it sounds about how I want, Fully SS, and in my price range.

Edit: I also looked at the Tanabe Touring, it sounded good but Its 80mm, dont think I need a bigger exhaust than 3in.

My GReddy exhaust was the same way. The exhaust isn't "junk" it just gives the end user more options. You could say that a slip fit exhaust is junk.

You can do what I did and cut the neck down off and weld a 3" stainless section and new flange.
