Coolent leaking behind crank pulley help!
So what I thought was my power steering pump idler pulley going bad turns out to be a bigger problem then I thought. The car started making a hissing noise coming from the powersteering pump side of the block. Noitced it the idler pulley was wobbly and changed it. The noise is still going strong. So I jacked up the car to try and pinpoint where this noise is coming from and notice that there is coolent coming from behind the crank pulley! Also looks like a little bit is coming from above it to causing it to run down. Here are some pics:
Vid:
Rundown on car: Stock block/head,43k all fluid changes done on time. Basic mods TBE and boost controller, intake.
It just seems like problem after problem. If this keeps up I might just have to sell the car and I really would hate to do that. Any help would be appreciated.

looks to me like your waterpump is leaking. i had the same issue and went through 2 pumps in about 10k. dont know why. they both just leaked through the weap hole on the bottom of the pump. i would change it soon because it wont last long.

Likely a seal issue.

had the same problem in august. was leaking coolant in small amounts from the exact same spot as you. I replaced my belts at the same time as the water pump but i think you can change out the pump without removing the timing belt at least. MAP has a great price for the whole water pump kit..include o-ring gasket and pump

Damn... yep.. definelty the water pump..
The water pump has a small hole on the bottom that starts to leak coolant out if the water pump goes bad..
Check this out.. I bought a timing belt kit from them on socalevo.net since they are vendors on there. They have the timing belt kit along with water pump for $180 shipped.

I don't know if I would use anything but OEM parts on these vital engine parts... to each their own though...

Pause, put the brakes on, that isn't the full kit. They're missing a critical component, the hydraulic tensioner, it's another $100 roughly.
