Would you take one and post it?

There are many documented accounts that our system works and works well. We only sell NEW systems. That way the customer gets coils that ALL meet stringent testing. With used coils, out of multiple cars of varying age...from who knows where. Performance from coil to coil will vary and it is only common sense to assume some cylinders would be weaker than others.

Here are a few examples of our non-cdi system at work. Another 700+ WHP ETS Turbo kit

Results...not promises 918whp through SparkTech Non CDI ignition

Im not going to take a picture because it has the CO logo on it. I am not here to bash but to inform the public that the average Joe who wont be running more than 34PSI wont be needing to waste there $$ unless they like the looks of one or are out of things to buy for their Evo. Those threads you posted are sponsored cars sir...

The first example the op gave states that his tuner said it was running the wrong fuel for what it was tunned for... I don't think that people below 500whp would have much use for anything other than the stock ignition. When you start running meth or race gas pushing high boost and need to gap the plugs very short then make the change. Next time put your money toward more cost effective mods for you power level.

I brought this up in a thread a while back. My car still on the stock coils 120k on the clock. I never had a spark blow out or misfire issues all the way up to 30psi on both a IX-20g and now on the 35r varient. I stated that heck I don't have misfire issues would it still behoove me to upgrade.

People chimed yes you should see at least a 10hp gain and a smoother pull yada yada. I decided not to drop the $600 egg for something that isn't broke. I too question the cars that do have misfire and/or blow out issues if a simple boot, wire, plug, or coil change would fix it.

Again I have no doubt about the CDI units. But good thread here about these non CDI's.

I think i'm actually going to order a spoolin kit here soon though once he gets his new coils and do a little testing. COP's do look cool lets face it

"gap at first couple pas was .019 then I put new plugs and gapped .015 Mark even guided me to add more ignition on the aem. We are positive that the misfires was cause by Sunnoco fuel because I have the same issue when I had BR COP and running Sunnoco couple months ago. "

I am sure this had nothing to do with it...

I am not saying that cdi or non-cdi is the way to go but your complaining about parts that are not sooted to your power level. Why don't you buy an ets 6" intercooler and tell us about it.

I am sure that people can find proof both ways. Bottom line - If you are not experienceing problems with you current ignition system don't buy another one.

This is just my personal opinion, and I have no data to back it up other than what I have observed on various cars mainly from this site, but the way I see it is a properly working stock ignition is just fine on a STOCK ECU car. The COP systems do seem to make a lot of improvements on AEM cars though. I think the COP basically bandaids yet another AEM problem.

Just my $.02

i was at the track that day with Vin,his car was breaking up pretty bad in 2nd and 3rd

that Sparktech non cdi unit has less than 500 miles on it

How can you blame them? Subaru is the best, everyone knows that.

Now what does the first link prove?
It proves not all coil on plugs are created equally

If our system supports 918whp and the other poor attempt at a copy can't support 763...GAME OVER

Here is the dyno sheet from the current record holder on Stock ecu attained on our Non-cdi cop.

Actually it did. At least now we can move forward. Send us the system and we'll inspect it for free. If we find any issues it will be repaired at no cost to you. It appears to be in like brand new shape.

Don't get me wrong, I think you make a good product. That being said, you just brought up a good point. TTP made almost as much HP on a STOCK ignition. Take into consideration that Taylors mustang dyno #s are as grossly inflated as Buschurs are deflated I would be willing to bet the TTP car is truely making more power.

I already agreed that these might be good for people making high HP, per your example. My arguement is that these units are sold to unwary customers who wont be making that kind of power and are replacing a capable system for nothing. TRUTH is the regular guys wont be seeing any gains...
