cam sensor isnt it!!!!!! they still dont know what it is but.....The fronts tires are 225/45/17s and the rears are 235/45/17s that might be it maybe.....that may be why it starts bucking after it warms up ?????

My guess is you did some damage to the center differential with the mismatched tires. I just moved to TX from MN so do whatever you can to get down here since it owns the midwest in every aspect

And the dealership doesn't even have a guess as to what is wrong? Check your diffs and TC and get 235s all around of the same make and model at least, DO NOT mismatch tires ever again on an AWD vehicle. If you want to do that go by a RWD or FWD car. (Or an AWD car that can compensate for it, like the C4)
To test the tire theory though (since it only happens when the car is warmed up). Let the car sit and warm up just parked and see if it still does it when you drive it right away, or if it still takes awhile (IE for the tires to warm up)

they put it on the lift and couldnt get the problem to happen so it only happens when the tires hit the road for like 10-20 miles of highway driving....Well yeah duh i feel like a dumb ass for sure man that i did the tires this way....never again will i be this stupid...i just hope the TC and diff isnt jacked up....Hope i can put on the rite tires and bam its fixed....It drives fine until it gets warm...has to be this in my mind....If the diffs or the tc were jacked up it would show imeadetly rite???instead of after it gets warm????

It might just be the tires. And if they put it on the lift and it doesn't do it even warm, that's another further test to show that. Are the tires at least the same tread pattern and brand etc etc?
Like I said, you may want to try warming it up by just letting it idle outside, and then take it for a quick drive and see if it does it or not. It might be that when the tires get hot and the rears have more grip than the fronts they push forward and the fronts lose traction and skip or something... Just throwing out ideas though. So if it doesn't do it with the tires on the road but when they've just been sitting and the car is hot, that could be it... Check tire pressures too for sure. You could always see if someone local has wheels/tires they'd be willing to swap with you to try.

Check the fluids in the diffs and tc for metal shavings, they may be fine still... But yeah, mismatched tires that horribly mismatched may definitely be your problem. Only thing you could do worse is to have ones with a larger sidewall.
Kumho Ecsta is how you spell it too At least both are summer tires though right?

This doesn't sound like a super smart dealership. That is one of the first things they should have checked. Get the right tires on there and see if the center diff is drivable. Doing this testing on the lift wouldn't show a problem like this because all 4 wheels are not locked together, they are spinning freely and are free to spin at different speeds. When you put the car on the ground however they all have to spin at the same speed, hence your problem.

I will be surprised if this issue was caused by that tire difference.
I mean, maybe we shouldve got a full size spare?
30 minutes of driving may be worth 3-5 psi max.
Not good to have mismatched tires, but, I'd think that your acd clutches would slip

Burn on 1d10t... What a good name though. If you need more explanation as to why hotter tires become stickier (pressure wouldn't matter much here) or why the spare is to only be used for a short while and at low speeds... Feel free to ask!
Did you get even tires all the way around then? Let us know if that fixes it! And congrats for solving the problem and not having anything broken or expensive. Replacing tires is way better than replacing TC or diffs. We all make mistakes in our early days, even if we don't like to admit it.

You obviously have quite a bit of learning to do still. Appropriate user name though May I recommend you read up on the usage of our spare tire and on how the ACD functions?
