Problem is in your head then. Most likely valve guides.

How wud I get to know where the problem is once ill lift the head ? Is the problem gone be visibaly seen ?
Wat wud be the syptoms of bad valve seals ,rings or valve guide ?

bad seals will most likely have smoke during startup or when u let off the gas.. i doubt the valve guides or seals would cuz ur drop in pressure on ur number one cylender but it is possible since u are seeing smoke when u let up off the gas. just seams a lil odd thats its only #1. if ur pressure didnt i ncrease during wet test and there are no signs of blowby then ur rings are still good.. when u take that head off check the head gasket around that bad cylender and put a straigt edge across the head and check to make sure there is no more then 3 thousands of a gap between the head and ur straight edge. use a feeler gauge for tha

u can also bring ur motor to tdc and apply air via the compression tester hose(dont forget to take out the stem) to the number one cylender and listen for where the air is escaping.. have something holding the motor from turning over.. i prybar works good or just someone under the car with a wrench.

Wow -- the problem is either - the wet test was done wrong - Reading something and performing it properly are two different things.

Or - Your valves are not sealing properly - due to carbon buildup, or just a piss poor assembly job.


Or your HG is toast. Unlikely tho - as you would be pushing coolant.

I've been running this stage 3 engine since 1.5 years with zero problems ,I stored the car for 3 months ,d now I'm seing smoke

do the wet test. Pour little bit of oil in the cylinder, and do compression test, if the psi go up, that mean it's your ring, if it doesn't do anything it's your head.

Lifted the head today ,rings r gone ...
Now plz tell me that I can see some scratches on the rod bearings also ,shud I change them also
Or let them stay as it is ?
Wat about the main bearings ,shud I check them also ..

if i were you id pull the whole motor and check it over, strip it, rehone, new bearings and rings etc...

definatly replace bearing while u have it out... ur this far u might as well do what jc evo1 said
