Pistonspeeds will be quite extreme.. I would try GT4202 with 1.28 A/R turbinehousing. Have you had any lubrication problems with very high reving engines? Any modifications to oil pressure or oil pump?

9000 x 3.937 / 6 = 5900 fpm
IHRA Prostock guys run over 7,000 but typically it is agreed that above 6k fpm rings do "funny" things. I wont even bring up F1 piston speeds, we have a whole thread on this subject.
Cant wait to see some results

with 88mm stroke speed is 5196.85fpm. Btw To get "ideal" rod-ratio 1.7 you need 170mm connecting rod. in 2.0 engine 150mm rod is enough.

Its not gonna last forever at that RPM, but nothing that goes to 9k regularly seems to go 100,000 miles anyway.

Slorice was the first to send me an e-mail yesterday, if all goes well he will be the car we use for the build.
We will use either the HTA86 or the PTE 6765 on the car.
The biggest problem with the strokers or any engine using the stock 100 mm crank that we've seen is the crank shaft cracking. With the billet crank we are going to use we hope to eliminate that problem.

My car is sitting in the garage right now heartless and looking for a heart!
I've been thru two stock blocks and was buying a 2.2l but ended up having to get my $ back because it wasn't even assembled. I'd do this..either that or put a stock block in and sell the damn thing lol

Bah...two of us in the DC metro area (VA and MD) just picked up our cars from Buschur last weekend and I can think of another from earlier this year from the local WV area. It's only 6-1/2-7 hours away.

I hve a t3 turbo making power to 10k.. depends on what T3..
As we discussed a few weeks ago, the rod stroke ratio on the straight 2.4 is good for 9k i am sure.. Lets get something going with some 10:1 pistons..
