First off we are not comparing insane dynos like TTP vs. Buschur... My friend Eric-R/TErnie has the exact same setup as me and he traps 130mph and both of us put down 520 corrected, I just did it on a lot less boost. The only difference between our cars are I have cams and he is running stock cams; I'm running a dump 02 and he is running a recirc 02. That is the only difference in our cars. Everything else is the exact same!!! I feel for sure I could trap the same, if not more if I turned my boost up! But no track for me till I have money to fix the things that may break. Why do you think I'm not running the same boost as you are? I'm not going to take a chance with my stock block because I can't fix it right now. Kids take a lot of money.

Just put mine on, only put on 1200 miles on it at 26psi. With a tune and 1000cc PTE, Full greddy TBE, Megan headers, Spark tech ignition, Act light flywheel and heavy clutch, AEM intake K&N filter, Greddy BOV.
I havent had a chance to get it on the dyno yet. After I get it on the Dyno going to add on a water to air from Faircloud and Cosworth Cams, then Im going to turn it up some more

I have not road raced the Red yet. I just finally installed the "jump rope" oil line and the built motor so I'll go ahead. I'm not sure on what boost I'll run. I'll start at 24-25, datalog EGTs and knock, and then turn it up from there.

That sounds good in theory, but all cars are different. I have seen cars on TTP's dyno produce nearly the same numbers as I have and not trap as high. Until trap speeds are produced from the vehicle in question, unfortunately all it is, is speculation and theory.
A list of variables at the track that are not taken into account on a dyno:
1. vehicle weight with driver
2. rotational weight IE: tire weight, rim weight
3. tire size
4. gearing
5. wing speed/direction
6. weather IE: temperature/humidity
7. alignment
8 elevation
9. drag/downforce
10. shift points
11. shifting speed lift shifting vs no lift shifting
These are just a few variables off the top of my head. Quite a few more as well. I'm not trying to knock you, I'm just simply saying that there are FAR too many variables beyond "I am making the same power as car X" That is a mute point and can only be speculation until your car is actually on the track and proven with a slip to back up the theory. That's all.

Ryu, I understand the concept, this is not at all new to me but I also know my car and his quite well and made an assessment based off the facts that I do know. It really doesn't even matter to me at this point. We will alll just have to wait and see because it won't make it to the track this year, I'm sorry... You have done well and I wouldn't want to take that from you! jk

Thank you for so graciously sparing me this year. I'm not quite done yet though. My transmission is being repaired and completely refreshed along with refreshing the tcase as well. I want at least a 10.1 on the red before the year is out. Remember, I still have an extra 50whp since my 10.36@132.93mph run that I have not gotten to use at the track yet due to one issue or the other.

I think I just put 10k on my current setup holding strong but I'm not as fortunate to have the ability to go to the track this year
