2.3l or 2.2l?

hey guys. i have a blown evo VII engine in my garage im planning a rebuild and stroke. what im nt sure on is wether i should go 2.2 or 2.3 and which brands i should use. i was originally looking at the eagle 2.3l crank with eagle or mahle rods and je pistons. now im considering the 2.2l. il probably stick with the same piston and rod combo but am not sure what branding crank to go for as i dont believe eagle makes a 2.2l crank for the 4g63. is there anybody out there with experience in this subject that can give me advice? also if there are any vendors out there that could possibly give me a good price or anybody that knows any decent shops out there that are reasonably priced could you please contact me via this thread or pm. any help will be appreciated. thanks.

Eagle, K1, and GSC all offer 94mm cranks to make the 2.2 liter. Pistons will be custom for the application whether you keep it 150mm or 156mm. If you go to the 4G64 tall deck block you can run up to 162mm rods (I recommend only using steel rods in this application) and those can be purchased from K1 or Manley.

I was going to go this direction, but ended up purchasing a 4G64 crank, Carillo Rods + CP Pistons.

What John said. I personally like a long rod 2.2 setup, great for street and track. The 162mm long rod setup would be cool, but Im not a fan of messing with a 4g64 block.
