Idle Problem?help
I need to change my rpm to bump it up.
With AC on and pulling up to a stop light, I take it out of gear and rpm drops too low, sometimes it shut down.....I cleaned the TB and everything and same thing..I Messed with the screw on the TB and it seemed to help a lil but now when coming to a stp the RPM stays on the 1400-1600 range for a bit then comes down..I know that this screw is for setting the TB closed position, I want to set it to the stock position again,Should I turn in Counter or Clock? how far? are ur cars idle controlled by the ecu?
where should the idle should be? the adjustment must be done with the AC?
What could be the cause of this Stalling?
thanks

What BOV? Are you venting to atmosphere? Is your Idle Speed Controller plugged in? Did you properly adjust the Throttle Position Sensor if you removed it?
As far as the idle screw, every car is set differently. For now a setting of about 800-900 with car warm is fine. Clockwise lowers idle, counter raises.

my car goes into low idle due to cams and BOV dumping to the atmosphere but it never shuts off, I think it could just be the idle screw
