My new ride
Well, I did not get a new car, but it is now... a totally different beast! I picked up my whip from Tobz Performance Tuning today after having my FP Red, Buschur Porter Intake Manifold, 65mm T/B, and 1350 FIC Bluemax Injectors installed in only two days. Holy S**t!!! I LOVE IT! I went from 376WHP to 470WHP!!! @ only 30 PSI. The little bit of Lag that I now have makes it more suitable for daily driving. It is not longer boost happy at 2800 RPM's; and when it Kicks, it Kicks!!!
I want to thank Brian, AKA Tobz, for all of his hard work and expertise! I can't wait to make it out to Bandimere and run 10's!!!

Drove the car to work today and boy can I say that I really, really love this turbo! I got the 64mm inlet and not any surge what so ever. It builds boost more smoothly and holds it better without BOV surge like the stock turbo did with the Forge RS BOV. I purchased the Turbo back in May and had been trying to break the stock turbo record for Colorado before I put it on. After falling .184 short, I'm thinking to myself, why the hell did I not put this Red on three months ago! I have been missing out big time! This Red will just keep pulling and pulling. This is the second best bang for the buck mod I have done... Only second to E-85 where I picked up 79WHP and the Red is another 94WHP on top of THAT! Please keep in mind, I'm on the stock bottom end; and I don't plan on running anymore then 30 PSI!

to do that in Denver no less gives you more thumbs up. Imagine what that car would do in the fall time in NJ or PA
i wish I could get E85 here. The red and e85 or red and meth would be sooooo nice. lol

Thanks! The NHRA Hanicap here at Bandimere Speedway is .600 of a second! Yes, at Sea Level it would be even faster!!!

That manifold is sick. Nice power too, I bet she's a blast to drive.

Very, very much so! It is SOOOOOO damn fast for a DD! Each time I am getting on the highway, the next thing I know, I'm doing 90 in third!!! The powerband is sick! Full spool is around 4000 RPM's and holds 450WHP to 8000 RPM's. If I had to sum it up in one word, I would say "STRONG"

Was there any particular reason you didn't go with the 80mm housing on the red?

I bought the turbo used for $1000.00!!! Plus my tuner says that the 80mm spools slower and the HP number's have not been as high!

With the new Larger FIC 1350's Injectors, Ported IM, T/B, Fuel rail, and the Red; I just got better gas mileage then I did with my stock turbo on PTE 880's!!! I was getting about 200-220 MPT and with my first tank I got 243 miles on E-85!!! How about that!

I would have to say it's the tune. My tuner is getting better and better! When I first switched to
E-85 I was getting about 180 MPT. Then he leaned it out and changed some things and I was getting 220 MPT. But with the new add-ons, I thought it go down, not up! Tobz is the MAN!!!
