Clutch rattles on Deceleration?

My Exedy stage 1 with Gruppe-S flywheel is causing LOUD Rattles when I let off the gas pedal on 4th and 5th gear betwen 40-60mph. Very annoying!!

Anybody find the cause of this? Is it the TOB or the lighter flywheel?

I'm already considering going back to stock or a different set up.

mine makes a slight noise as well but nothing to drastic but i still notice it. from what i hear it's normal to the ACT clutch setup (which is what i have). at initial install upon startup it was loud and annoying at idle until it warmed up. but after break in it went away. not sure if its normal though.

Thanks, I'm wondering if it will diminish with break-in.
If not, I may try to wear this much quicker than my 70K+ stock ones.

Anyone ever fix this issue?

your stock clutch lasted 70K miles??

mine lasted 20K but with multiple launches and 1/4 runs and a bunch of 3rd gear pulls.

hoping that the ACT will last a bit longer lol

I'm wondering if it is the TOB, or just the lighter flywheel?

Does anybody have the same set up as me with the noise?
Exedy stg1 with Gruppe-S flywheel?
I used the TOB that came with the clutch.

I have had this noise for years, and at least 90k miles, all 8s and 9s make it to an extent.

It kinda sounds like chatter. I had/have a slight amount of chatter with my ACT clutch, but it seems to have gone away for the most part. Now if i can only figure out how to get my downpipe to stop rattling against the tie bar (?) I'll be good to go.
