oo one note, it use to rattle only from 3000 to 2450rpm in 3er and 4 and 5 gear only, now than i have removed my WR Engine Torque Stiffener cause the metal bracket has been broke is making more noise even in 2 gear from 3000 to 1900rpm, so i will install the WR Engine Torque Stiffener, installing back my oem harmonic balancer and change my motor mounts for Avid billet motor mount after all that it my help!

Do you have oem harmonic balancer? RRE they tell me to better use the oem for noise reduction

my car is pretty much stock other than regular boltons. the noise only came about after the clutch change.

that's weird, my car with stock engine (only 272hks cams) and a lot more external mods with the exedy twin clutch wasn't make any noise

yeah i"ll probably change the clutch out before it needs to be and see what happens then. just dont want to spend another 700 on a clutch setup. not to mention having to change it out lol

i forgot to mention that i do have a Buschur front motor mount installed. did this along with the clutch change

Have the same thing, same rpms, same gears for the most part. Had it on the stock setup as well, became more noticeable with an Amsoil fluid change (not a dig, awesome fluid). Went to a single organic Exedy installed at CBRD, double checked with Chad, same noise as always just amplified. Gear selection only effects it because of the speed of the gear sets changes the specific frequency, and the vibration gets worse. Don't sweat it bud, just one of the many nuances of Evo ownership lmao.

Still trying to figure it out, only things I can come up with are either the clutch or the flywheel. At least I know it's not just my car, I thought we F'ed somthieng up during the install.

I have the same problems with my Evo 2. Have tried both QM twin and Carbonetic Carbon tripple and they both make the tranny sound really bad on deacellaration. It did not make this noise on standard clutch. I believe the reason for this sound are that these clutches dont have a sprung/dampened center. I have also tried to shim up the tranny a little tighter, but still alot of noises.
I believe the only thing to remedy this, is to change to a clutch with sprung/dampened center. That is my personal opinion, not the fact
I have only found one twin plate clutch that have a aprung center, and that are this OS Giken clutch: http://www.osgiken.co.jp/pro_clutch/clutch/r2cd.html
Anyone know about someone that have this clutch and how it performs?
