Clutch Pedal Adjustment problem

Some complete retard has pretty much rounded the nut on the arm which you need to loosen to bring the clutch biting point up. Are there any tips out there to undo this as i have spent 1hrs already tonight with no ****ing luck.

I had to us needle nose vise grips in the past, It should work.
