The only outstanding issue involves the size of the throttle shaft wheel, and it takes all of about 1 min to replace it on the car. I'm working with Hypertune to resolve it right now, so it will soon be a non-issue, one way or another.

Still awaiting the replacement Hypertune TB ...

We've determined that the spring pressure on my Hypertune TB is enough to significantly compress the rubber grommet at the end of the throttle cable that is attached to the pedal. When this happens, it reduces cable travel significantly.

Aside from that, the engine is running very well, and I am tuning and tweaking as I have time. The CNC port job and 12mm lift cams really make the 2.0L engine feel torquey.

The Boomba is the fallback option. I just dread the idea of pulling the manifold and sending it back to Tom of DI to be reflanged. We'll see if the Hypertune TB is waiting when I return home on Wed.

The car is on the road and running well, it's just that so long as this TB has excessive spring tension, it cannot open the throttle valve to the full WOT position.

That is no fun at all. Need to fix that TB so you don't damage your throttle cable.
