3/4 are same MD747255
5th MD745892

there are no gear or gear ratio changes in the early 1-3 boxes. so RS and GSR came with same ratios. only difference was RS came standard with front LSD and GSR it was an option. It wasnt till evo 4 came out were there were gear ratio changes and rear end ratio options, even then the scyncros used would be same.

but to be sure post the number of your box to be sure you have evo3 box.r

From memory, I believe the ratios in evo 1 box's are slightly different to evo 2/3. That said though, there are no differences between GSR and RS ratio's. The Evo 3 however, has a different crownwheel and shaft, hence requiring a different ratio transfer case to the evo 1/2

Just didn't know RS had the same gears..

Does the eclipse use the same part numbers?
I've changed my synchro rings but still not totally satisfied with the way it feels, what else would be worn?
Is the hub/sleeve the thing that the synchro ring sits in?
