Good call man! The AMS kit is still the best and well crafted kit for a 450-600 whp (dynojet) Evo. When the kit was made the smaller runner manifold, and .63 housing are perfect for Horsepower and Torque in that 450-600whp. Now with all these big "small" turbos running around. To extract that power up you need to step up to a bigger runner manifold, and a bigger turbine housing.
Good luck with your Sick Ride..

Great to hear Mr. Sharkbite. You saw the thread I posted where we modified the AMS mani to accomodate an .82a/r housing. With that setup you'll have one hell of a powerband. Keep us posted on what goes down!

Switch over to a kit that allows .82 rear and if you have room get the big cover with 3" outlet... My feeling is that the 6765 needs more room to breathe and thats why its down on power.. We did make around 40 more HP over the 6262 but i think my setup was even limited with small front cover, 2.5" piping and 65mm TB.. I am going to step up the piping and TB and well see if i can get the 875whp i think the 6765 is capable of.. Ill have results next week.. Ill keep you guys updated..
Mike

Mike, I'm tracking my .81 T4 housing and I should have some new numbers next week as well.(Maybe even this weekend.)
I'm more curious to see if I have to step up to the .96 a/r due to backpressure issues with the smaller housings.
Next week should be interesting for us both.

You can just order the backhousing Sharkbite, it's less than $200.....or just see if Precision will swap out the housings...it's a direct bolt-on to your current turbo..

I believe the problem is not @ the manifold it is the 5 bolt exhaust pattern vs the 4 bolt which prevents it from being a "bolt on" on the AMS kits.
