Is the Evo IX Stock Turbo Capable of 9's??? Look Inside..

I would have to say with the correct combination of parts the baby IX turbo can run a 9 second pass.. Of course the chassis must be right, tuning in order, and a good combination of parts that make power.. After seeing Most-Wanted's Evo IX RS tonight run a 10.2 w/ a 1.5 60ft on 1 of the many 10.2 and 10.3 passes i can say that a 9 second pass can happen with just 475-480whp.. This turbo was not even PORTED and we only spent 1 day on the car dialing it in. Check out the dyno sheet below and the timeslip to back it up.. To run 133mph w/o nitrous is amazing from the little turbo that could..

It can go 9's. It will break at least a 9.9. Get slightly more agressive when you guys dial it in, and make a completely killer pass. It can do it.

holy crap. good job brian. i know you havent piloted the car in a few weeks since it was being built and stuff, get some more seat time with the new set up and im sure you can get a 9 sec pass. great job by mike, speed and anthony as always. i look forward to sorting out my issues on friday morning bright and early.

With this being the first outing since the major build and with Brian having a couple of months off for the build. I absolutely think a 9.9x is possible and I certainly vote for that to be the goal. That would raise the bar to a new plateau.

9.9 is definitely possible, although 10.2 is very impressive in itself...
