If I was on the throttle, the turbo spooled to double the boost it would normally be at for that amount of rpms...
If I gave it too much throttle it would 'stall' like a fuel cut feeling and back fire.. that was at only 4000 rpms...
after driving it for 15 minutes it came out of it and drove normal..
only happened once and hasn't done it since..

Does the answer have to be repeated? Take your hks bov, grab a trash bag put it in the trash bag and light it on fire, take your OEM bov put it back as recirc, get a tune, problem solved you're welcome

My friend has one on his IX vented to atmosphere with no tune and its fine. Your issue may be an idle control valve. when it idles low, cover the bov vent with your hand feel for vacuum.

Even with higher boost it's still inexcusable on an MAF vehicle. That's what the APS twin vent, Synapse synchronic, and Forge (even though I wouldn't recommend this one, heard nothing but trouble with it, but still beats running VTA) are for.

hahah sorry dude, I was just messin around, I was in a mean mood.
anyways, get a stock BPV back on there and upgrade to the IX one while you're at it.
oh, did you read the link I left you? some good info in there, that guy writes a TON of stuff about subarus and I find alot of it invaluable to most turbo cars.
Here's a link to Unabomber's entire manifesto
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=533787
I'd like to say that I've read it all but I definately haven't. lol

no problem man, we were all new at one point. I just have an advantage that I've been obsessed with turbo AWD cars since I turned 16 almost four years ago.... wow seems like forever ago lol.
