The rod came out in three different spots in three peices lol. No big deal though, We went 10.0 and trapped 142 with the stock motor.

A little more work has been done. We have now deleted the ABS. While doing this we put together a kit.

In the images above and below you can see all the mess that is deleted with this kit.

These can be found here... http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...emoval_kit.htm

Drives: Evo IX rally car

Just curious if you have a workaround for those who want to lose the ABS, but need all the wiring to work with the traction control (ACD) system?

In my car I removed the factory booster & master cyl, installed a Wilwood dual master setup, and re-ran the brake lines, much like your new kit offers. I pulled 1/2 of the ABS brain out (side that had the brakes lines going in), but had to leave the plastic box where all the wheel speed sensors connect in. Just curious if there's an easy way to bypass that box?

Not that I know of yet. I am taking all the wiring out and not using the ACD anymore so I probably wont find out.

FWIW, stripping the car out definitely affects the "driveability." You pull out all the sound deadening, extra brackets holding the dash in, etc. it makes the car a rattle trap.

It makes a very noticeable difference in performance though. I pulled 450 pounds out of my old 2G AWD back in like 2002. I was taking down 50-trim/60-1 setups with a little T28 that I auto-X'd the hell out of and drove 40+ miles a day to work without a heater in below freezing weather.

It was a complete rattle trap turd, but man was it fun to drive.

If your shaving more than a few grams of anything off of a girls rear end you got issues

Nice work on the ABS delete kit! I'll consider doing this along with the removing my ACD system.

Is the BR turboback made from 18 gauge material? Seems a little too light for 16 gauge material.
